The role holder is responsible for the day-to-day management of a transaction processing team to ensure accurate, speedy and efficient delivery of service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Efficiency and Delivery
• Ensures adherence to country and hub operating policies in area of responsibility, maintaining conformance and consistency of provision.
• Monitors workflow to ensure that processing is delivered in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Is responsible for the authorisation and release of transactions in area of responsibility.
• Executes control process checks as appropriate to validate transactions.
Service Quality
• Resolves day-to-day problems in processing or escalates issues as appropriate.
• Is a subject matter expert on product and process in area of responsibility and a contact point on day-to-day issues.
• Networks internally with sales and customer service colleagues to solve issues, and escalates unresolved issues as appropriate
Compliance and Risk
• Ensures due care and diligence is exercised on day to day operational matters relating to Money Laundering acquiring relevant knowledge and training; thus providing support to superiors and subordinates.
• Key Control Standards Assessment within department with nil over dues.
• Follow up on corrective/ preventive actions to a point where concerns arising from these findings are addressed to a satisfactory level.
• Ensure full compliance of all laid down rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the Company/Group.
People Management
• May be required to coach and provide technical guidance to individual
Reporting Relationships
• Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coaching of others, and will act under the direction and guidance of a manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum qualification is Diploma
Have experience in Financial Market Operations and other related field
Professional Qualification in the related field is an advantage
