Job Description
Global Operations Officer, Derivatives Middle Office

Key Roles & Responsibilities
New and Amended Trade Validation
Responsible for the execution of accurate and timely trade validation according to the latest approved global, product & regionally defined procedures.
Trade Life Cycling
Responsible for the execution of accurate and timely trade life cycling according to the latest approved global, product, and regionally defined procedures.
• Applicable to exercises, rate resets and all types of market operations.
• Applicable to validation versus approved source life cycling model
Reconciliation and Exception Queue Management

Responsible for the execution of accurate and timely reconciliations and break investigations according to the latest approved global, product, and regionally defined procedures.

Query, Investigation and Escalation Management
Responsible for the execution of accurate & timely management of queries, investigation and escalation according to the latest approved global, product and regionally defined procedures.

Bug/System Issue Communication and Bug/Fix testing
Responsible for the execution of accurate & timely management of queries, investigation and escalation according to the latest approved global, product and regionally defined procedures
• Applies to all management of all queries, investigations, and escalations.
Main coordination for Portfolio Compression(all activities, including bilateral agreements for Rates/ Credit and multilateral agreements).

Supporting any Ad hoc projects

Qualifications & Skills
• Candidate must possess a Degree or Diploma or Professional qualification in any field.
• Candidates with Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics and business related qualifications would be preferred
• 1-2 years work experience in the Banking/Finance industry is a plus
• Experience in Derivatives is not essential but would be an added value
• Possesses strong English communication and written skills with good inter-personal relationship skills.
• Extremely high attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow within the role.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work autonomously, but also be a good team player.
• High analytical and problem solving abilities.
