Job Description

Attend to Referred Risks/Pending Approval cases (in Eims) referred by BDEs from HQ and Branches according to authority limit given.Monitor & ensure Motor Underwriters underwrite all documents received and submit to CPD for policies & endorsements issuance as per SLA.Signing & checking of endorsements as per SLA.Prepare and submit IT Request form for EIMS and GIS enhancements and ensure testing are done by timeline given as well as liaising with GIS Support staff on GIS maintenance matters.Liaising with RI Department to ensure RI is placed for all motor risks with sum insured exceeding RM500K.Ensure Motor Underwriters attending to enquiries on PIAM's blacklisted vehicles via email alert & advise Customer care to release blacklisted record in Eims. Handling deletion of blacklisted record in GIS.Provide assistance and close co-ordination with the marketing staff to achieve company’s objective.Attend to tele-enquiries from Branches and agents on motor underwriting matters.Assist in timely review of renewal notices & complete within the designated time frame.Yearly review of agents and internal guidelines.Ensure compliance of PIAM Guidelines on Motor Tariff.Ensure compliance of Bank Negara Guidelines relating to Motor Underwriting.Ensure compliance of AMLA, PEP and high risk non-resident (Iranian/Korean) insurance application checking.Supervise & guide underwriters through on-the-job training

Job Requirement

Well versed in Motor Tariff and Motor Underwriting terms.Possess good motor underwriting knowledge and skills and able to underwrite policies & endorsements independently as well as handling Referred risks.Able to lead and guide a team of motor underwriters in achieving motor underwriting goals.Computer literate.Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin.
